Dear Customers,

The maintenance work in the EODATA environment – EODATA S3 access service (s3://eodata), which was previously planned for June 9th between 07:00 and 09:00 CEST, has been postponed.

The work will be rescheduled, and we will inform you about the new date in a separate communication.

Below you can find the original scope of the planned activities:

We would like to inform you about planned maintenance work in EODATA environment - EODATA S3 access service (s3://eodata).

During the maintenance window, a new data access service called Exos will be deployed. It is a S3-compatible interface designed to provide access to Earth Observation (EO) data stored in the CloudFerro repository. Exos will become the primary S3 interface for EO data access.

What is changing?
Exos is being introduced to enhance the way data is accessed, ensuring better performance and higher availability as the volume of Earth Observation data continues to grow.

Possible impact
You may experience delays in access to newly published (fresh) data during the maintenance window.

Important information

  • Access to already published data will not be affected.
  • You can continue using your existing S3-compatible access methods.
  • No migration, workflow changes, or integration updates are required on your side.
  • We do not expect any major disruptions and the deployment is planned to be as seamless as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
