[Maintenance] [Update] on 1st of July 07:00-09:00 CEST - ODATA Upgrade

Dear Customers,

Following our earlier announcement, we would like to inform you that the planned maintenance work in the EODATA environment - EODATA S3 access service (s3://eodata) – did not take place on the 9th of June as previously communicated.

The maintenance has now been rescheduled to the following window:

Maintenance window: 1st of July, 07:00–09:00 CEST

During this time, we will deploy a new data access service called Exos, which is an S3-compatible interface designed to provide access to Earth Observation (EO) data stored in the CloudFerro repository. Exos will become the primary S3 interface for EO data access.

What is changing?
Exos is being introduced to enhance the way data is accessed, ensuring better performance and higher availability as the volume of Earth Observation data continues to grow.

Possible impact

  • You may experience delays in access to newly published (fresh) data during the maintenance window.

Important information

  • Access to already published data will not be affected.
  • You can continue using your existing S3-compatible access methods.
  • No migration, workflow changes, or integration updates are required on your side.

We do not expect any major disruptions and the deployment is planned to be as seamless as possible.
