In this section, we delve into the commercial Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) services provided by CloudFerro, the sole dedicated Earth Observation (EO)-centric Cloud Provider in the market, via the CREODIAS Platform. We will explore all the services, and provide a comprehensive Price List. CloudFerro's services through CREODIAS are accessible across four independent public cloud regions, specifically CF2 (WAW2-1), WAW3-1, WAW3-2, and FRA1-2. We plan to extend our services to more locations in the coming year, with each region offering its distinct set of services and prices. All public cloud instances have equal access to EODATA.

As a cloud provider specializing in Earth Observation (EO), CloudFerro presents significant advantages for EO-related applications. Standing out from generic clouds, CloudFerro ensures competitive pricing by integrating EO Data access directly into each Virtual Machine (VM). This distinctive approach allows your applications to benefit from immediate, high-speed access to an extensive range of EO data, eliminating the need for time-consuming data transfers. This degree of integration results in faster processing times, more efficient resource usage, and ultimately, a smoother, more responsive user experience.

Summary of services

Moving forward, we will be detailing the pricing for all the primary categories of services available from CloudFerro on the CREODIAS platform. In the left-hand menu, you'll find four distinct price lists, each specific to a designated cloud. All Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services offered on our platform have well-defined prices, enabling third parties to easily calculate the budgets required for their solutions. 

  1. Three main billing models:
  • Per usage (per hour) pricing billed with Resource Units
  • Fixed term (long term) pricing
  • Pay-as-you-go (per hour) pricing billed monthly.
  1. What are you paying for?

Our pricing is straightforward:

  • You pay exclusively for the services you utilize.
  • Each service has a singular cost (e.g., solely for storage space, not including read/write operations).
  • Our pricing is transparent, with no hidden fees.
  • Prices are clear, well-defined, and easy to understand.
  • We offer region-specific pricing; each Cloud location has its own unique rates. Particularly, WAW3-2 stands out as the best choice for computing applications.

Our pricing is very preferential for long term Users of the system: prices are more attractive for 1 year than for short period of unlimited period of contract.

  1. Discount policy:
  • Special discount for contracts longer than 1 year or for large cloud environment orders, contact sales departament to get quotation
  • Special discount of 18.5% for scientific institutions
  • Free of charge EO data access from CREODIAS cloud environment.
  • 250 EUR free credits for new EO data users for tests and evaluation of the CREODIAS platform

Each user's application for free credits will be considered on an individual basis.
CloudFerro reserves the right to refuse granting free credits for any reason at any time.

All prices are in EUR, excluding VAT.
Prices for Monthly, Half yearly and Yearly periods are in Fixed Term (long term) monthly cycle.
Prices for Pay per use model are calculated in the hourly cycle.
