Price List

 

Below we present a price list of all the main categories of services available on our platform. All ICT services offered on our platform have well defined prices – thus Third Parties can easily calculate the budgets necessary to build their solutions. 

There are three main billing modes available – as described in a section above:

  • Per usage (per hour) pricing
  • Fixed term (long term) pricing
  • Revenue sharing

 

Several important aspects of our approach to pricing should be underlined:

  • Our pricing is very competitive as compared to the cloud hosting world market leaders. We elaborate more on this in section: Comparison to world market leaders
  • Our pricing is very preferential for long term Users of the system. There are high discounts for 1 year and longer contracts. We generally believe in long term relationships.
  • Our pricing is simple – specially in storage we bill only for storage space and there are no charges for number of operations and other parameters. This makes using our platform very accountable – one can easily foresee what budgets are necessary for his setup. There are no small print hooks.
  • Our pricing is preferential for Users who want to communicate – our Internet connectivity is very competitive as compared to the market leaders. Connecting to the outside clients as well as connecting between Third Parties is going to be economical.
  • Our pricing should provide value for the future – again see Section “Comparison to world market leaders”
  • We offer a special discount of 18,5% for scientific institutions.
  • We also offer free test credits for new users that want to check and evaluate the CREODIAS Platform.

Comparison to world market leaders

We compared the pricing of our platform to these of several cloud computing market leaders – namely Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.

The comparison for main service categories: computing, storage and connectivity are presented in tables below.

Generally our current offer is at the range 65-100% of competitive pricing for computing. For storage our pricing is at 80-110% range depending on some parameters but the offers are not directly comparable as we do not bill for the number of storage related operations. We are however up to an order of magnitude cheaper as far as Internet connectivity is concerned!

 

We thus conclude that:

  • We provide a very competitive offer with pricing generally lower than that of market leaders.
  • This means that in the time frame of the project our pricing will remain competitive.
  • Our platform is especially competitive as far as the Internet transfer pricing is concerned. This means that our platform is very economical for services that are going to massively share some resource via web pages or other related techniques.
  • It should be also noted that we compared basic pricing (hourly/monthly) only. The CREODIAS Platform price scheme provides immense discounts for long term (yearly etc) Users that makes the Platform pricing even more competitive for Third Party type Users.
  • The CREODIAS Platform pricing is simple and easy to use – we bill only per hour or for longer periods. We do not bill for number of storage operations. Thus it is easy to prepare budgetary calculations using the CREODIAS Platform Price List – there are no unknown factors to be taken onto account.

We however plan to benchmark our pricing against world market leaders every year. In case of major changes in pricing trends we plan to accommodate our pricing accordingly.

One can see that CREODIAS Platform pricing for standard flavours is set between 65% and 90% of competitive pricing only for high memory pricing CREODIAS can be up priced between 100% to 120% of competitive pricing (it should be however noticed that high mem flavours are not directly comparable because CREODIAS flavours normally have significantly more RAM. Additionally – Google VMs normally do not have VM SSD storage – so their price is estimated with appropriate amount SSD volume storage – Google VM SSD storage is available only in 384 GB quanta that would make the VMs significantly more expensive).
