CREODIAS and ESRI cooperation!
With contributions from the European Space Agency (ESA) ᶲ-lab CREODIAS and location intelligence world leader Esri have jointly set up initial services for Sentinel-2 data. Direct access to cloud storage and selective data ingestion in ArcGIS Image Server proved to be a standard IT conforming and quick process that conforms to IT standards. As a result, an analytical service for any given area can be set up and maintained in an automated fashion. ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise installations, as well as web applications hosted in the CREODIAS cloud, offer high availability, bandwidth, and scalable computing resources for short-term research and long-term offerings alike.
CREODIAS is located and operated in Europe, and it offers Esri users a cloud platform with some distinctive features:
- Instant and direct access to curated Copernicus data
- Compliance with general data protection regulation (GDPR), ISO 9001, and ISO 27001
- Full archive of EO data from Copernicus
- Easy access to locally stored data (over 10 PB and continually growing)
- A full range of up-to-date cloud offerings
- Elastic and scalable computing resources
- Flexible storage
- Security
- Access everywhere
- Transparent cost control
- Pay-per-use or fixed billing
The CREODIAS platform also offers users a data browser on its website as well as direct support 24/7/365. CREODIAS and Esri will further invest in extending and optimizing their joint offerings.
