Zipper service keycloak token
Answer

Hello.

I am trying to automatically download .NC files via the Zipper service, following these instructions (https://creodias.eu/-/how-to-download-eodata-products-using-eofinder-api-?inheritRedirect=true&redirect=%2Ffaq-eo-data). I cannot seem to figure out how to generate the keylock token. Where can I find my username and password information?

Livia

Dear Livia,

You have been asked for your username and password during the registration process. Most likely, your username is also your email address.
Please refer to this handy how-to article regarding the generation of KeyCloak token: https://creodias.eu/-/how-to-generate-keycloak-token-using-web-browser-console-
Remember that you need to be logged in in order to obtain token.

Hi Mateusz,

Thank you for your response. I tried using my email as my username, but it is not valid, I get a 401 Response.
I am running the curl request via a python script. I am not logged in into the virtual machine, I am running it from my own environment.
I guess my question now is: do I need to create a VM in order to obtain a Username? Or is there a way to find this information directly from my Creodias account on this website?

Livia

Dear Livia,

I'm sorry for the slight misunderstanding of your question.
You will have to download OpenStack RC file and source it in order to equip your system in OS environmental variables. After that you may easily perform a keycloak token generation using curl.
For more informations regarding sourcing OpenStack RC file, please refer to https://creodias.eu/-/how-to-install-openstackclient-linux-
