Finder REST API recent change in CORS policy?

Toggle
https://finder.creodias.eu/ give you the REST query of your latest search.
It's really useful if you want to make small variations on that search programmatically.
I've used such REST queries to check the availability of Sentinel-2 products from with a webpage
that I authored.
I've done this using javascript fetch() calls - respecting the CORS origin header.
It all worked fine until this morning.

Q:
Has there been a recent change in finder server such that it no longer cooperates with CORS
header origin requests?

I'm also actively using this functionallity. The specific CORS error below - for me it looks more like a configuration mistake.

Access to fetch at 'https://finder.creodias.eu/resto/api/collections/Sentinel2/search.json?maxRecords=100&page=1&startDate=2022-01-30T12%3A56%3A10.450Z&completionDate=2022-03-01T12%3A56%3A10.450Z&geometry=POLYGON...' from origin 'http://localhost:3000' has been blocked by CORS policy: The 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header contains multiple values ': *', but only one is allowed. Have the server send the header with a valid value, or, if an opaque response serves your needs, set the request's mode to 'no-cors' to fetch the resource with CORS disabled.

Please investigate that.

Still no joy.
My browser is still reporting:
CORS header ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ missing
Any chance of a fix once the outage work is done?

It's been over two weeks now since the Finder REST API has not cooperated with CORS.
Is this a permanent change in policy?
Or can I hope for a fix some time in the future?
